Columbians Edge Dutchmen, 7-6
The Washington Columbians knocked off the Cincinnati Dutchmen, 7-6, at Columbians Stadium. Ned Moore was a big reason Washington won. The second baseman was 3-4 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Cincinnati, now 1-13, continues its tough start.

Moore had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh, when he hit a 2-run single. The Columbians went on to win.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Moore told the Washington Observer.
