 | Wayman Voted September's Rookie Trophy Monday, October 1st , 1877 Paul Wayman has come a long way in a short period of time and has developed into a solid starter. The 19-year-old Philadelphia hurler has been spectacular in his 5 starts this month and has been acclaimed Rookie of the Month in the Professional Base Ball. In September Wayman fired the ball with confidence, going 4-1 with a 1.67 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 54 innings. Philadelphia fans really have something to look forward to with this kid. In 24 starts this season, Wayman has rung up a 11-14 record and a 2.62 ERA. |   |
