He muzzled Federal Baseball Union hitters and held them in check the entire month to capture the Pitcher of the Month award. To win the honor Wegman compiled an impressive 8-3 mark and 2.70 ERA in 11 starts. The Spartans star hurler also rung up 23 strikeouts in 100 innings.
