 | NA News Flash: The Offseason Begins Wednesday, October 1st , 1884 The National Alliance offseason is like a river. It ebbs and flows toward a sea of uncertainty. The next few months, though, are where a superior general manager really makes his mark: contract negotiations, trade talks, club assessments, scouting and minor league evaluations. Now that the 1884 playoffs are in the books, it's time for GMs and their staff to get down to the business of creating next year's version of their team.
