| Dutchmen Blank Anthracites, Joy Wins Friday, September 30th , 1887 Bob Joy really had his stuff working at Dutchmen Ballpark. The Albany Dutchmen hurler mystified the Scranton Anthracites, shutting them out, 4-0. Joy allowed a total of 2 hits in the ballgame and struck out 13.
"The shutout is nice, but I'm just happy we won," Joy said with a smile after the game. "Coach can be a real bear when we lose."
