The Allentown Peanuts pitcher appeared to get stronger as the game went on. "I don't know if I was getting any stronger," Spiker said after the game. "I feel like my mechanics were getting better. I was able to make some adjustments and get a little more comfortable out there." On his stats sheet for the year Spiker shows a 18-14 record, 29 starts, 266.1 innings, 178 strikeouts and a 2.64 ERA. |   |
