Marty Flicka, the Lincoln Statesmen 24-year-old left fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for Corn Belt League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 11 hits in 30 at-bats, compiling a .367 average with 1 home run and 10 RBIs. To date this year, Flicka is batting .331 with 11 home runs. |   |
