 | Broken Glass Cuts Generals Ellis Monday, August 17th , 1896 Generals reliever Charlie Ellis received medical attention yesterday after accidentally cutting himself at his home. Ellis was apparently cleaning up broken glass from a shattered window when he sliced his right hand on a jagged shard. The cut required 10 stitches and will reportedly keep Ellis out of action for about 2 weeks. |   |
