The 20-year-old shortstop scattered hits all over Trailhead Park to pace the 16-15 Fort Worth Drovers victory over the Waco Drummers.
Waco skipper told reporters in the press room that "Ogden deserves a hat-tip."
"He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Ogden hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit."
Joseph Ogden hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
Ogden is hitting .331 this year with 6 home runs, 111 RBIs and 104 runs scored. He has 146 hits in 441 at-bats, 56 walks and a .411 on-base percentage. Ogden has played in 97 games.
