Columbians Overcome Gem from Goodsell, Pull Out Win
Sam Goodsell pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Baltimore Cannons, despite Goodsell's fine outing, dropped a 3-2 decision to the Washington Columbians at Ordnance Grounds. Jimmy Brannan got credit for the save for Washington. It was his 1st of the year. With the win, the Columbians have a record of 27-44.
