The Boston Brahmins beat the Kansas City Bulls, 6-2. Boston pitcher and New York, native Will James led the way. Boston now has a record of 43-28 with the win.

The Brahmins took advantage of an error in the top of the fifth inning. Boston was leading 2-1 when Dave Dye hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Brahmins in front, 3-1.

"I pretty much put my pitches where I wanted to," said James.
