The Chicago Cyclones and Louisville Colts completed their game despite the inclement weather.

The Chicago Cyclones topped the Louisville Colts, 6-5, in Federal League action at Garrison Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Chicago pitcher and Louisville, Kentucky, native Doug Crockett. Crockett, who is tied for 2nd in the FL in innings pitched with 118.2, went the distance for Chicago. He gave up 5 runs on 9 hits.

Dick Sebastian hit a 2-run triple off Ed Wales in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Cyclones in front, 4-2. Sebastian had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 3.
