The Boston Brahmins managed to get by the Baltimore Cannons, 4-3, in 13 innings at Brahmins Grounds. Boston pitcher Woody Ross set himself apart with his performance. Boston is now 59-34, while Baltimore is 41-42.

The Brahmins got a clutch hit from third baseman Dave Dye. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Brahmins.

"Obviously, we're happy we came out on the winning side, but what a great game to watch, just as a fan of baseball," said Brahmins manager .
