| Baltimore Upended by Chicago, 4-3 | Baltimore got a terrific performance from pitcher Sam Goodsell, but it wasn't enough to beat the Chicago Catamounts. Chicago won the Halsted Street Grounds contest, 4-3. Goodsell threw 8.0 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. Chicago raised its record to 51-46 with the win.
The Catamounts benefited from an error in the bottom of the second inning. Chicago was leading 2-0 when Charlie Haynes hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Chicago in front, 4-0.
