The Toronto Provincials snuck past the Montreal Tigers, 8-7, in 10 innings. Toronto first baseman Henry Clancy, in particular, had a standout performance. Fred Brody got the win, improving to 25-27. He pitched 10 innings, giving up 14 hits and 7 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 3. Toronto now sits at 70-62, while Montreal falls to 83-51.

Merritt Hunter had the most critical at-bat for Toronto. With two in the top of the tenth inning, Hunter hit a 0-2 changeup from Otis Markel for a run-scoring single. It put Toronto in front, 6-5.
