The Louisville Colts picked up a win at Columbia Field, topping the New York Barons, 8-2. On the mound for Louisville was right-hander Ed Lane. He played a principal role in the triumph. The triumph puts Louisville at 86-40 for the season.

Charlie Morris broke a 2-2 tie in the top of the fourth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Colts in front, 3-2. For the game, Morris was 2-4 with 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs.
