| McDonald, Westerners Notch Nifty 3-1 Win Over Washington | In a low-scoring game between Indianapolis and Washington, pitcher Bill McDonald was excellent. The Indianapolis right-hander helped his team knock off the Federals, 3-1. By defeating Washington, the 6th-place Westerners improved to 16-19.
