| Brahmins Losers, 7-2, Versus Cincinnati | At Queen City Grounds II, the Boston Brahmins and Cincinnati Monarchs were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
Cincinnati pitcher Norm Mason made his presence felt in the 7-2 Monarchs triumph over the Boston Brahmins. Mason threw 9.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The loss drops Boston to 6-13.
Jim Lacasse, the Cincinnati left fielder, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning to make the score 4-1, Monarchs. For the game, Lacasse went 2-4 with 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2.
"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Mason. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
