Westerners Suffer 6-2 Loss to Chicago
The home crowd had a good time watching the Indianapolis Westerners and Chicago Cyclones get after it.

The Chicago Cyclones got a good effort from starter Victor Anderson in defeating the Indianapolis Westerners at Garrison Grounds. The final score was 6-2. The Cyclones, now 5-1, have hit the ground running this season.

The Cyclones got a big at-bat from second baseman Roman Washington. For the game, Washington was 1-4 with a triple and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 3rd triple of the season gave Chicago a 4-2 lead.

Washington attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
