The Chicago Cyclones knocked off the Washington Federals, 4-3, in Federal League action at Capitol Park. Chicago pitcher and Lansing, Michigan, native Jim Lucier had an outstanding performance. The Cyclones improved their record to 30-40 by beating Washington.

The Federals had trouble solving Lucier, who surrendered 3 runs on 6 hits over 9 innings.
