Cook Delivers Walk-Off Win for Cyclones
Dave Claiborne did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the New York Columbians from being beaten, 7-6, to the Chicago Cyclones at Garrison Grounds. Claiborne went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. Chicago, now 5-1, is setting the league on fire so far.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Chicago trailing 6-5, Morgan Cook hit a fastball from Tom Ewart to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Cyclones had a walk-off win.

"It was bedlam at the end," Cook said.
