| Bannermen Win Nail-Biter in 10 | The Baltimore Bannermen claimed a close win over the Toronto Provincials, due in large part to Harlan Beesley. The Baltimore right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-1 win. At 25-11, the Bannermen find themselves in first place in the International Association.
Beesley, who dominated for Baltimore, earned the victory to move to 16-7. He was in control the whole game, scattering 6 hits over 10 innings, while striking out 1. Toronto batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
