| Ashe Befuddles Federals as Pittsburgh Wins, 2-1 | Hurler George Ashe gave the Pittsburgh Vulcans a solid start. The native of Aurora, Ohio helped his team defeat the Washington Federals, 2-1, at Capitol Park. The Vulcans improved their record to 42-39 with the win over Washington.
