Cyclones fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

The Chicago Cyclones got a magnificent effort from pitcher Ben Brownfield, who kept Cleveland hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Cyclones win at Garrison Grounds. Brownfield, who finished 5th in the FL in wins with 19 in 1881, went the distance for Chicago. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits.

"Tough loss," said Cleveland manager . "The kind that burns a little inside."

The second-place Cyclones improved to 46-33.
