The Baltimore Bannermen topped the Toronto Provincials, 5-3, in International Association action at Garrison Common Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Baltimore pitcher and St. Louis, Missouri, native Nate Shine. Baltimore is now 28-32.

Baltimore used the timely hitting of Israel Thompson to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Bannermen on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Nate was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Baltimore manager .
