Starting pitcher Hugh Brigand gave the Baltimore Bannermen a rock-solid effort. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native helped his team defeat the Toronto Provincials, 3-2, at Banner Field. With this game in the books, Baltimore is 31-38, Toronto 41-32.

Brigand broke a deadlock in the bottom of the seventh inning, when he hit a sacrifice fly, putting Baltimore up, 3-2.
