Brahmins Claim Late Win
Boston Brahmins starter Lloyd Dehaan turned in an exceptional performance against the St. Louis Pilots at Brahmins Grounds, resulting in a Boston win, 4-2. The Brahmins, at 39-37, sit in 6th place in the International Association.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Cecil Mathews came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing St. Louis pitcher Will James, he hit a 0-1 curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Boston on top, 2-1.

Mathews called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
