Cannons first baseman Jerry Stevens left his mark on his team's 11-5 win over the Washington Columbians. Stevens, who is tied for 7th in the in doubles with 7, went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for Baltimore in the contest. Baltimore is now 13-10. Washington is 8-15.

The fans who came to support the Cannons were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Ordnance Grounds.

Stevens told a Baltimore News reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
