Burns Silences Boston, 1-0 | Baltimore Cannons hurler Ken Burns was at his best as he beat the Boston Brahmins, 1-0.
"He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said Boston manager . "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit."
Burns, who is tied for 2nd in the in innings pitched with 162.2, fired a 4-hitter and totaled 10 strikeouts and 1 walk in the shutout performance.
