The Philadelphia Bells earned a win at Brahmins Grounds, knocking off the Boston Brahmins, 5-4. On the bump for Philadelphia was right-hander George Faulk. He had a starring role in the triumph. The 4th-place Bells have won 4 straight games.

Philadelphia took advantage of an error in the top of the sixth inning. The game was tied, 3-3, when Bernard Adams hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Bells in front, 4-3.
