| Montrose Bangs Out 5 Base Hits | It was a parade of hits for Sam Montrose of the Toledo Mudcats at Livestock Grounds.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Montrose finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Mudcats to a win, 11-4.
"Montrose was really good and we were really bad," groaned Stockmen manager Josh Kershaw. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
