Morris Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games

Charlie Morris has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 35-year-old Rochester Robins third baseman extended his streak to 20 games, going 2-for-5 as Rochester got the best of the Philadelphia Unions at Girard Grounds, 9-3.

"Charlie has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Robins manager said.
Charlie Morris singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.

Morris is hitting .290 this year with no home runs, 45 RBIs and 59 runs scored. He has 97 hits in 335 at-bats, 13 walks and a .320 on-base percentage. Morris has played in 76 games.
