The right fielder for the Buffalo Bluebirds hit the milestone against the Providence Patriots, helping his club to a narrow 6-5 victory. Davey finished with a 5-for-5 line at the plate.
"Davey was a tough out," Providence manager Kevin Ord told the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one."
William Davey singled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
Thus far this year, Davey has hit .370 with 5 home runs and 62 RBIs.
