 | Test Stops Richmond Friday, September 16th , 1887 Clark Test dominated the Richmond Rebels with a brilliant 6-hit shutout in the 5-0 Birmingham Vulcans triumph at Ironworks Field. The Birmingham hurler fanned 11 and walked 2 in the game and was singled out for praise afterward by the opposing manager. "He really kept us in check today," Rebels skipper said in postgame comments. "Everything looked to be moving. Seemed like the pitch was right down the middle and it went over down and away. We took some pathetic swings." To date, Test has a 26-15 mark in 42 starts with a 3.19 ERA. He has given up 389 hits in 372 innings, struck out 251 and issued 107 walks.
