The Birmingham hurler fanned 11 and walked 2 in the game and was singled out for praise afterward by the opposing manager.
"He really kept us in check today," Rebels skipper said in postgame comments. "Everything looked to be moving. Seemed like the pitch was right down the middle and it went over down and away. We took some pathetic swings."
