The SSL champions have been crowned, the confetti swept up, and now begins another offseason in baseball's cycle of life. For fans, the days drag by, with only news of hirings and firings breaking up the monotony. But for general managers, there's plenty of work to do. The offseason is when a top-notch GM really earns his money.
