Hills Foshee subdued the Richmond Rebels, 2-0, pitching a 2-hit gem for the Nashville Hickories at Cumberland Grounds.

"He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Nashville skipper said.

Foshee registered 10 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in his superb performance.

"We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Richmond manager after the defeat.

Up to now Foshee has compiled an ERA of 2.42 with a 26-19 mark over 45 starts. He has 322 strikeouts in 409.2 innings and has held opponents to a .221 batting average.
