Philadelphia's Faulk Reaches 1000 Hits
Philadelphia's Alexander Faulk entered the record books today as he collected hit number 1000 at Garrison Grounds.

"I am proud of this. Not too many players reach this level. You have to be around quite a few years and you have to get a lot of hits," Faulk said after the game.

On his milestone day he went 1 for 3 as the Unions won 11-4 over the Chicago Cyclones.

In his career, Faulk has racked up 1000 hits with a .272 average and .312 on-base percentage. His numbers include 158 doubles, 65 triples, and 46 home runs, along with 560 runs scored and 559 RBIs.
