| Anderson Leads Chicago to 10-1 Win | The Philadelphia Unions took it on the chin, losing, 10-1, to the Chicago Cyclones. Victor Anderson, who leads the FL in complete games with 20, pitched a strong game for Chicago. The Cyclones, at 25-13, have now won 5 straight.
Anderson, a native of Youngsville, Pennsylvania, was dealing all game. He kept Philadelphia hitters off-balance, while giving the Cyclones 9 quality innings. Anderson threw 127 pitches, allowing 5 hits and striking out 6.
"If you can control the count and control the hitter, you're going to have the upper hand," said Anderson.
