The Rochester Robins and Milwaukee Creams played an entertaining game for Cream City Grounds patrons.

The Rochester Robins topped the Milwaukee Creams, 5-4, in Federal League action at Cream City Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Rochester pitcher and Virginia Beach, Virginia, native Bill Nolette. Nolette got the win, improving to 6-4. He gave up 8 hits and walked 1 over 9 innings. He allowed 4 runs.

Jason Curtis, who is tied for 9th in the FL in home runs with 1, helped out the Rochester cause in the top of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk.

"Good teams find a way to win close games," Curtis said.

The Robins raised their record to 16-12.
