The Philadelphia Unions handed the Milwaukee Creams a sound defeat, 12-3, at Cream City Grounds. John Casey, who finished 5th in the FL in RBI with 70 last year, was a main contributor to the win. He went 4 for 6 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Philadelphia. The Unions improved their record to 62-46 with the win over Milwaukee.

A key moment came with one out in the top of the fifth. That's when Casey hit a fastball from Sam Barnhill for a run-scoring single, putting Philadelphia up, 4-2.
