Heath Leads Charge, Boston Blasts Clippers
Boston and Cleveland took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.

The Boston Brahmins clobbered the Cleveland Clippers, 13-3, at Lakefront Park. Boston third baseman Tony Heath led the onslaught. He was 4 for 6 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Lloyd Dehaan, who finished 4th in the FL in innings pitched with 481.0 in 1883, was the winner. He's now 2-0. The loser was Dan Hicks.

Lloyd Dehaan had a key at-bat with two out in the top of the fifth for Boston. With the bases loaded and the Brahmins leading 4-2, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"We had a good plan and executed it," said winning manager .

The loss drops Cleveland to 0-3.
