Clippers Post 4-2 Win Over St. Louis
Cleveland pitcher Eddie Montague had a large part in his team beating the St. Louis Pilots, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Clippers with just their 8th win in 26 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

Cleveland used a well-timed hit by Randy Mix to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Clippers ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"That's how you're going to be successful," said Clippers manager . "It starts with pitching and it will always be pitching."
