The Milwaukee Creams beat the Philadelphia Unions, 7-4. Milwaukee pitcher and Shelton, Connecticut, native Norm Schmitt led the way. Milwaukee bumps their record to 21-39 with the win.

Milwaukee went in front, 6-4, on Ed Templin's 5th triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Templin hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Philadelphia pitcher Bancroft King visibly perturbed.

"Norm had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Milwaukee manager .
