| Unions Get 6-3 Win Versus Pittsburgh | The Philadelphia Unions topped the Pittsburgh Vulcans, 6-3, in Federal League action at Girard Grounds II. The game was highlighted by the performance of Philadelphia pitcher Thomas Goss. Goss, now 15-9, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 3, and allowing 3 runs. The victory gives Philadelphia a record of 49-39.
Alexander Faulk had a big 3-run home run for the Unions in the bottom of the sixth inning.
