Randolph Hollings led Toronto to a win over Indianapolis. The final score was 10-1. Hollings collected 4 RBI, while going 3 for 5 at the plate. The shortstop also scored 2 times. Norm Woods got the win, improving to 2-0. He held the Stars to 1 run on 4 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 1 and walking 1.
Hollings had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the eighth, when he hit a 2-run single. The Provincials went on to win.
"I thought we played a nice game," Hollings told the Toronto Bulletin. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
The victory makes Toronto 4-1.
