McHugh Records Shutout Against Brahmins
Beau McHugh of the Baltimore Cannons was masterful, pitching a 4-hit shutout, 2-0, against the Boston Brahmins.

By going the distance, he was at the same time able to give his bullpen a rest, a fact appreciated by Baltimore manager .

"It's nice to have someone who can do that from time to time," he said. "He had command of every ball and every pitch. Great location, too."

McHugh had 9 strikeouts and no walks in the outing.

Checking out his stats for the season, McHugh has notched 5 wins and 7 losses in 12 starts. His ERA is 2.94 and he's struck out 64 batters in 110.1 innings.
