| Malley Now 6-2 After Subduing Sturgeons | Girard Grounds II was the site of a tense game between the Detroit Sturgeons and Philadelphia Unions.
Jack Malley, who is tied for 7th in the FL with a 2.36 ERA, pitched a gem in leading Philadelphia to a 3-1 victory over the Detroit Sturgeons. With this game in the books, Philadelphia is 19-11, Detroit 19-14.
Malley was the winner. He's now 6-2, after putting the Detroit offense in a vise grip. Over 9 innings, he gave up 1 run on 3 hits, while racking up 7 Ks.
