3-1 Loss Extends Milwaukee Losing Streak | Despite the rain, the fans at Garrison Grounds enjoyed a good ballgame.
Chicago Cyclones starter Ben Brownfield was in fine form. He led his team to victory over the Milwaukee Creams, 3-1. Brownfield, the winner, moves to 8-8. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up no walks.
In the bottom of the fourth inning of a 1-1 tie, Chicago catcher Jack Cogburn reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It broke the deadlock and put Chicago on top, 2-1.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Brownfield.
