Jack Malley, who is tied for 10th in the FL in complete games with 34, propelled his team to victory over the Pittsburgh Vulcans. The final score was 7-4, Philadelphia. The Philadelphia win streak is now 3 games.

The Unions got a big boost from catcher Alexander Faulk who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Vulcans hurler Ed Wales. It was his 32nd walk of the season and put Philadelphia on top, 1-0.

"Good win for us," said Faulk. "Now we'll focus on the next one."
